If you somehow haven't noticed, the Black Friday streaming deals have reached fever pitch, with many more subscription services offering Black Friday deals than last year, and most of them have gone live in the last few days. Hulu is no exception, with possibly the best streaming discount of all.
You can now sign up for Hulu's ad-enabled plan for $9 off per month, equating to a saving of 90% per month. But that's not all, with another way to save, and you can find both of these deals by scrolling down.
Hulu is one of the several streaming services owned by Disney, and it's generally aimed at an older audience: forget Marvel and Star Wars, with Hulu you'll get the likes of FX shows, true crime and Searchlight movies. It's chock-full of binge-worthy series as well as some fantastic movies too.

The Disney Bundle combines Hulu with Disney Plus, and you can get it for $8 off in this fantastic streaming bundle. Both streaming services will be on their ad-supported tiers, and it's the Duo Basic package, which doesn't include ESPN Plus.

When do the Hulu Black Friday deals end?
You can sign up for the Hulu Black Friday deal until Monday, December 2, which is Cyber Monday. You'll have to sign up before 11:59 pm PT, which is in the early hours of Tuesday for people in ET.
Can existing customers get the Hulu Black Friday deal?
Unfortunately, current Hulu customers can't get the Hulu-only deal, and you can't get the Disney Bundle one if you're currently subscribed to Hulu or Disney Plus.

Instead, you have to be a new customer, or a returning one. Hulu and Disney Plus define 'returning' as someone who hasn't been subscribed for a month, so you can't roll from one year's Black Friday deal to another!
Is there a Black Friday discount on the ad-free or annual Hulu plans?
The Hulu Black Friday deal listed above is the only one you can sign up for.
Hulu offers annual subscriptions as well as an ad-free tier, but if you sign up for those, you'll have to pay full price.
Since the deal is only a monthly plan, you can upgrade part-way through your subscription, but you'll lose that $1 monthly price and will have to pay the full fee.

Last year, Hulu was also reduced to under $1 per month for a year. But since Hulu was cheaper back then, this year brings an even bigger discount.

The best deal of Black Friday 2023 was this massive price cut for Hulu, which saw the price drop by $7 per month for an entire year. That means you only had to pay $11.88 for an ENTIRE YEAR of streaming, instead of $79.99 (which was at the time the price of an annual plan of this tier).
Will there be more Black Friday streaming deals?
You can use Black Friday to catch up on lots of TVs and movies because there will likely be a good few discounts across various streaming services.
Last year Max, Paramount Plus, Peacock, Fubo and Philo also saw discounts, though in my round-up of them I flagged Hulu as the best.

How much does Hulu normally cost?
Forgetting Black Friday deals, how much do you normally need to pay for Hulu?
If you sign up for Hulu right now, you'll have to pay $9.99 per month for its ad-supported plan or $18.99 for ad-free. This is since a price increase on Thursday, October 17.
The annual price of the ad-enabled option also increased to $99.99, though the ad-free alternative doesn't have an annual option.
Can you get a Hulu Black Friday deal if you already have an account?
Generally speaking, you can't redeem Black Friday deals for a Hulu subscription if you're a current user.
In the (at-time-of-writing) current Hulu deal, it's open to new subscribers, as well as people who haven't had an active subscription for over a month. So returning subscribers can sign up.
